More than just a clean!
Like a lot of our customers, they have spent many £1000’s on a top-quality CCTV install. Just like owning a car, it needs to be maintained. Today CCTV systems are complicated, with lots of moving parts and system configurations. Alarms are set up so that we can monitor them, and just like your PC or phone, every now and then they need a reboot to ensure that they run smoothly. On top of that, many manufacturers release firmware updates for their devices. These will help improve the performance, fix any bugs or add security patches needed to keep your system secure.
Unfortunately, some installers fail to mention this or supply the system with a view that you just forget about it.
It may incur a small cost for an annual service on your system, but it can increase the lifespan and reliability of your investment and we would highly recommend it.
